Siamese, Oriental and Foreign Whites are often referred to as the Group 2 Cats.

The Siamese cat with its distinct color point patterns is one of the most popular breeds of domesticated cats in the world, and for those who cherish individuality, intelligence, unique personality and self expression in their pets, the Siamese offers a deeply rewarding relationship. It has been indicated that Siamese and other oriental shorthairs are the most intelligent of all domesticated cats.

Siamese kittens are born white, with the darker colouring on the ears, face, tail and legs starting to show from three to seven days old. Eyes are always a vivid blue, looking like Porcelain figurines. Being one of the more extroverted cats in the world, Siamese cats are like living and breathing works of art. Siamese are often vocal and demanding. Although some Siamese are more talkative than others and some have louder voices, they all love to talk.

The Siamese, Oriental and Foreign White cats are considered one of the most intelligent of all cat breeds. Siamese, Oriental and Foreign White cats are very loving and active companions. They are loyal and often attach themselves to one member of the family. They regard themselves as people instead of cats and become totally involved in their owner’s life, and thus owning a Siamese, Oriental or Foreign White cat can at times be a challenge. Interestingly, Siamese, Oriental or Foreign White cats make perfect pets not only for families with children, but they also make a great companion for elderly people, as they tend to display their tender character especially towards elderdy people.

They are very vigorous and healthy cats that live on the average 15 to 20 years, and over 20 is common. Siamese, Oriental or Foreign White are typically active and playful, even as adults.
